Somewhere between Bali & Lombok
I’ve been wasting some time (I don’t really consider it a waste, but the writing process was on pause) to enhance my blog, like creating a logo based on one of my former drawings, “commissioned” by the guesthouse Aurélie and I worked at in Sapporo (I haven’t been paid, fortunately, regarding to the quality of it — I didn’t translate the article yet, but for whoever is interested in seeing the pictures I still linked the article), modified on the application Photoshop Express. I also used that software for the banners (fonts included). Which means that I should better hurry, I’m in Thailand, I’m still four countries behind. Why do I keep being off topic?
Bali
Now that we are ready to go, and that you’re aware about the biggest scam I know (granted, I don’t know much obviously about Indonesia), I can finally write about the trip itself! Let me tell you that it’s much more enjoyable. I will divide the trip in 3 sections, the one I did already about Mount Batur, this one about the main island of Bali and lastly one about the paradisiac islands. The message I want to convey is the reason why I decided to write this article even before the one about our trip in Bali. Within the last few days, we’ve been noticing a lot of customs around here, like tying chooks, goats, dogs or cows to a tiny rope, whether in Bali or Philippines. More than ever I want to act and try to do something about the dreadful conditions of the environment and other beings. Therefore, other than publishing bad reviews for the Mount Batur…
How to get prepared for a trip in Bali
After a short trip between Brisbane and Sydney, as I previously told me, Aurélie and I are flying towards the most famous destination in South East Asia from Australia: Bali. After spending three weeks there, I can say without a doubt that I understand why it’s so famous. For this adventure, I’m gonna divide in 3 articles, one about how to get prepared (according to the title, this one) and two for the trip. It’s not exactly what I initially planned but after what we lived in Mount Batur, I decided that it needed its own article. Spoiler alert: DO NOT GO THERE. Here, as I tried to introduce, I will give some tips and…
